This study presents a comparative and analytical examination of the research and scholarly contributions in the field of Hadith studies in Sialkot, Pakistan, focusing on both universities and traditional madrasas. The article traces the historical development of Hadith education in the region, highlighting the roles of prominent scholars and scholarly families, as well as the establishment of religious schools and modern universities. It examines the research activities at universities, including MPhil and PhD level theses, contemporary Hadith topics, research methodologies, and reference standards. Similarly, the study evaluates the research in madrasas, emphasizing Dars-e-Nizami, specialization in Hadith, scholarly treatises, biographical studies of narrators, Hadith commentaries, and authentication works. A comparative analysis highlights the strengths and limitations of both institutions, focusing on research themes, methods, academic quality, and scholarly outcomes. The study concludes with recommendations for collaborative research forums, curriculum reforms, quality enhancement, and the use of modern academic resources.
