Abstract

Ram Lal is a prominent Urdu short story writer who has deeply explored human psychology, social issues, and cultural conflicts through his writings. His stories reveal the harsh realities of life and present the problems of the middle class with great sincerity and honesty.

From a technical perspective, Ram Lal’s short stories are characterized by simplicity and fluency, yet they also contain glimpses of deep thought and philosophy. His narrative style, though descriptive, possesses a strong emotional appeal.

Ram Lal has introduced diversity in his themes, artistically portraying social contradictions, moral values, and the complexities of human relationships with masterful skill.
