Abstract

Surah Al-Hujurat offers profound guidance on ethical values, social norms, and interpersonal etiquette. It emphasizes respect, kindness, and justice in human relationships, providing principles for effective communication, conflict resolution, and community cohesion. This paper examines the norms and etiquette highlighted in Surah Al-Hujurat (verses 11 and 12), exploring their continued relevance in modern society. Key themes include respect for authority, avoidance of gossip and backbiting, promotion of unity and justice, and the cultivation of humility and self-awareness. By analyzing these principles, the study aims to demonstrate how Islamic ethical teachings can be applied to contemporary social contexts. Integrating these guidelines into daily life can foster a more harmonious, respectful, and just society, improving interpersonal and communal interactions.
