Abstract

Urdu Fiction is not just an artistic expression but an effective means of awakening consciousness. The environment is a reflection of all relationships. The environment is an interconnected system that clarifies the relationship between man and nature. The principles of ecology and literature are quite similar. There is not much difference between human culture and the natural world, but man has destroyed it in his zeal to conquer the natural world and has also put himself in danger. This means that carrying out the process of creation, the characters who understand literature, are connected to each other, accept each other's influence, and have a profound impact on each other .In literature various forms of expression of nature and the environment are found such as the desire to return to nature, sympathy for nature, compassion, and the desire and effort to survive, and Environmental issues. When they find a place in literature, do not remain merely informative, but leave a lasting impression on the mind of reader. Ahmed Nadeem Qasmi’s love for village Intezar Hussain’s trees and animals, Qurtulain Haider's consciousness of environment and nature, Tahira Iqbal emotional ecology and village life, Mansha Yaad rural ecological canvas and the psychological atmosphere of Hassan Manzar. All these form the basis of a comprehensive environmental within Urdu fiction. These short story writers explored Ecological issues along with a host of other issues related to the interplay of nature and environment, their stories reflect a deep, though varied awareness of ecological issues making a valuable contribution to the field of South Asian Eco critical literature.
